Grameen Foundation has supported microfinance across the Middle East and North Africa since 2003, including through Grameen-Jameel Microfinance Limited. In its 13 years of operation, Grameen-Jameel supported 21 microfinance institutions that collectively reached 1 million clients in 11 countries across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
Grameen Foundation will continue to support financial inclusion in the region through strategic collaborations, including our volunteer program, Bankers without Borders.
