Eleanor Wagner spent her career with Citigroup, lastly as Chief Risk Officer for Citi’s investment banking and capital markets business in Asia where she oversaw all risk-taking activities in the 16 countries that comprise the region. She was also a member of Citi’s Asia Pacific Management Committee. Prior assignments included Managing Director in risk management, derivatives, structured finance and energy banking.
In addition to her work with Grameen Foundation, Eleanor serves on the board of JASA, a New York-based social services agency servicing the aged, and is on the Leadership Council of the Athena Leadership Center at her alma mater, Barnard College, where she initiated a mentoring program. Eleanor holds a BA from Barnard College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has also practiced as CPA in New York State.
